Executive Director
Ms. Xoliswa Carrol Lukhalo is a Turnaround Strategist by Profession. Her background and experience includes providing pragmatic solutions in achieving organizational strategies, building capacity, policy development, redefining governance structures, building coalition to support business growth and implementing and managing change to drive organizational performance. She has also been involved in Health System Strengthening projects, capacity building in Education, Training and Development, process re-engineering and skills development. Ms. Lukhalo has worked with a network of strategic partners globally, including but not limited to governments, regulatory bodies, corporates & funders such as The Atlantic Philanthropies, PEPFAR (the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief), Discovery, Anglo American, De Beers Chairmans’ Fund, among others.

Ms. Lukhalo has managed multiple programs and worked on various projects with an wide range of strategic partners within the African Continent and Internationally, including but not limited to South Africa, Kenya, DRC, Lesotho, Swaziland, Angola, Ghana, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, India, Australia, USA, UK, Mauritius, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Zambia, Zimbabwe, with direct reports, a team of consultants based in South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, UK and USA.

Mr Gregory Otieno is an accomplished and multifaceted procurement and supply management spanning over 18+ years of rich experience in delivering optimal results and business value in environments that demand cross Functional leadership, convincing and influencing a diverse number of people from different disciplines and nationalities, and with exceptional strategic and operational planning in global, regional and national roles. Mr Otieno has hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management activities, which include but not limited to, strategic sourcing, quality control, administration, logistics, supplier development, sustainability and Black Economic Empowerment from diverse industrial sectors including, research services, construction engineering, FMCG, motor vehicle manufacturing, banking and finance, healthcare, public sector/higher education, and international development/emergency services. A wealth of expertise in project optimization and modernization. Ability to defining competitive global strategies for procurement and supply management, defining developing and implementing procurement policies and governance systems to enable the attainment of efficiencies and the management of associated risks. Expertise spans enhanced value creation, innovation, productivity, and supply security.

Mr Otieno’s academic credentials include two Masters degrees. Masters of science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the University of Glamorgan in the UK, and a Masters of Business administration from Regenesys Business School in South Africa.

Sindisiwe Hlatshwayo

Executive Director of Sky Quest
Sindisiwe Hlatshwayo is an Executive Director of Sky Quest, and a majority shareholder of the business. She has led the company from its inception in 2011 while she was still in full time employment with the South African national carrier, South African Airways (SAA). More recently she has been focusing solely on her Sky Quest responsibilities and has led the successful delivery and conclusion of a number of projects in both the public and private sector. This has been in the areas of event management, workspace hygiene services, and freight and logistics services.

During her 20+ years in the Aviation industry she has amassed extensive experience and skills in customer relations, crisis management, health and safety management and standard operating procedure management. Furthermore, her proactive nature and natural business acumen has enabled her to build a vast network of strategic partners globally, which she is currently tapping into in pursuit of growing the business of Sky Quest Group and its divisions, namely:

Principle Partner/Associate and Chief Legal Officer
Sipho Dyonase has extensive exposure both in public and private sectors, actively engaged in the practice of management consulting in the areas of forensic accounting, fraud investigation, due diligence, corporate governance, anti-counterfeiting, financial investigations, contract management, asset management, asset tracing, and Legal and Litigation Support. His main areas of focus are commercial law, corporate practice, general litigation, commercial contracts, legislation drafting, legal opinion and municipal and local government law. He has excellent personal, organizational and client relationship management capability that enables him to partner with clients in providing effective solutions and outstanding project execution.

Legal and Litigation experience in various courts but not limited to the High Court, Magistrate Court and Regional Court etc.
Mr Mangaliso Chris Shabangu

Mr Mangaliso Chris Shabangu

Managing Director of Shabangu Architects
Founder and Managing Director of Shabangu Architects, Mr. Mangaliso Chris Shabangu is a registered Professional Architect with South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) and is also a Member of the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA). With over 41 years of experience in the building industry, Chris has gained valuable experience in various sectors ranging from retails and commercial projects to residential housing and schools, healthcare, office parks, airports, stadiums and industrial.

He was involved in the design and supervision of a greenfield International Airport project at (King Shaka international Airport) R2 Billion Project and OR Tambo International Airport R2.3 billion). Extensive portions of the project have been designed by Shabangu Architects and include air traffic control Tower, Crash fire and Rescue facilities, Maintenance Buildings, International Arrival Terminal etc.

He further successfully carried out the Design and Contract Management of the Ellis Park World of Sports, advising on various aspects of possible refurbishment of the project including the upgrading of Alexandra Stadium in Alexandra to FIFA Standards. Further projects that Mr. Chris Shabangu has successfully carried out include a number of Social Housing Developments including Albertville Housing, R10 Million, Rhodesfield Housing, R22 Million, Kenilworth Housing R15 Million and Dobsonville Social Housing R220 Million. Other highlights on his projects are the New Natalspruit Hospital (760 Bed) design and overseeing the construction of new primary healthcare clinics catering mainly for the previously disadvantaged communities in Embhuleni Silindile and Amsterdam in Mpumalanga province. Assisted in the design and development of the hospice, And Community Centre for the people with HIV, initiated by the African Christian Women Against Aids Ministries (ARCHRIWAAM).

Growth has provided Chris Shabangu to successfully lead a consortium of various consultants in implementing the construction of schools in the Eastern Cape through the ASIDI PROGRAMME by the National Department of Education and Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). Chris Shabangu has recently been appointed as a Principal Agent for the Refurbishment of 8 Johannesburg TVET Colleges for a period of 2 years (2020 -2022).

Chris takes pride in the niche his firm has created and its ability to survive and re-invent itself under the harsh challenging economic conditions. His personal beliefs include the passion to benefit the broader community by using his skills to undertake pro bono design work.
